Eleni's Kitchen | Our Story
Hello, I'm Eleni — welcome to my kitchen
Eleni Woldeyes started Eleni's Kitchen from a simple belief: Ethiopian food is meant to be shared with everyone. A market stall became a Beaverton brick-and-mortar — an open door for anyone curious about her heritage.
From the farmers market
Eleni built her following one plate at a time at the Beaverton Farmers Market, where neighbors kept coming back for the flavors she grew up with. That loyal community is what made the leap to a permanent home possible.
Making Ethiopian food accessible
Eleni's mission is to make Ethiopian cuisine approachable — whether you've had injera your whole life or you're trying it for the first time.
Beyond the restaurant
She develops her own Ethiopian simmer sauces and spice blends, and leads hands-on cooking classes through PCC so guests can bring these flavors home.
